JUST ONE SWIPE AWAY: Our story began on Tinder. Emily was new to the scene, while Drew was just about ready to hang up the towel and call it quits. But it just so happened that we both swiped right on each other and took a chance on love.

Our first date was at the Urban Abbey, where we instantly hit it off. Time flew by! After hours of getting to know each other, the barista let us know that they Abbey was closing for the evening. We looked at each other shocked, as it didn't seem like we had actually been talking for over three hours.

We quickly became each other's person.

Our first summer together, we took a road trip to BC. This was a huge trip for us and we were both very excited to make core memories together. We had a blast and we knew from that trip on, that we complimented each other so well and knew that we had a future of incredible memories to make together.

The next summer, we travelled to the other side of the country and went to the East Coast. Before we even made it to another province, Drew was eager to ask a very special question... We were making a stop in Huntsville before continuing on our drive and we found a little trail covered in trees, beside a wide river. As it was beginning to drizzle, we decided to see where the trail took us. We stopped at a giant tree, surrounded by mushrooms (an Emily favourite). Drew asked Emily to turn around, as he rummaged through his bag. Once Emily turned back around to face Drew, he was on one knee and asked for her to marry him. Once Emily said yes, it started down pouring! So we ran back to our car, giddy and elated.

We are both so excited to spend the rest of our lives together and have all of you celebrate with us on our big day!
